Parenting Best Practices from at Any Stage from A Ninja Mom who Doesn’t Claim to be an Expert

The tips in this episode will be helpful at any stage of parenting. Even if you don’t have kids yet, you’ll connect to the lessons and stories in this episode. I’m gonna just put it all out there.  I was that kid that the parents didn’t want their kid hanging out with… yep, that was me.  I drank and smoked at a very young age and stole a car when I was 13.  I did some really stupid stuff.  My parents completely trusted me, and I got out of pretty much any situation because I was a smooth talker.  There’s no way my kids would get away with the stuff I got away with… and a lot of that has to do with social media.  If your child is on social media, you should have very password to their accounts.  You pay for their phone service, so you should have access so you’re able monitor and protect them if need be.

Bret and I decided to sit down and compare parenting styles.  I wouldn’t say either one of our parents were good or bad, just different.  The thing is, Bret was a good kid.  I was not.  So that definitely impacted our parenting styles.  In this episode I talk to you about how we’ve approached a lot of parenting situations. I don’t claim to be an expert.  I just like sharing my personal best practices.
