What are the symptoms of Perimenopause and Menopause?
Ladies… this episode is for you. Chalene talks all about women’s hormone health, and in particular, perimenopause. Have you ever wondered the difference between perimenopause and menopause? Wondering if you might have perimenopause symptoms yourself? Listen in for some clarity.
Have you been experiencing any of the following symptoms: mood swings, poor sleep quality, hair thinning, insomnia, low energy, sadness/depression, brain fog, low libido, weight gain, etc. Many symptoms overlap with autoimmune issues, however, a lot of these symptoms are perimenopausal. What is perimenopause, you may ask? Well, let me tell you. It is the transition phase a woman undergoes when she is losing her menstrual cycle and transitioning into menopause. This phase can take on average anywhere from one year to five years, but with poor gut health… one can experience systems way earlier than five years prior. Menopause is then diagnosed after one full year of no cycle.
This episode will provide you with even further clarity, as I explain to you the difference in detail between perimenopause and menopause. I also share with you how you can go through this transition phase while still maintaining your confidence, boosting your sex drive, and repairing your gut health. Listen in now!
I hope this episode served you at a time in which you needed to hear it. Menopause is obviously not a favorite topic of mine, but it’s an inevitable topic. One that I feel should be discussed more openly. Hopefully, you can learn from this episode and that it brings you the clarity you need.
