Better Life: How To Create A Better Life

Think of something right now that you want to be better (and/or different) in your life. Whether it’s something physical (heal an injury), you’re trying to change (lose weight), you want to learn (new language), or accomplish (build a business), and… the list goes on.

What do you do?

Well, you can keep doing what you’re doing. But, guess what? Nothing is going to change. That’s the bottom line. See, if you’re thinking:

  • I’ll be more conscientious about how I talk to my husband…
  • It’s time to get diligent about how I’m eating…
  • I’ve got to be extra mindful about when I get up in the morning…

Ummm, no. All of that isn’t going to shift anything in the direction you’re hoping for. Honestly, I’m not even sure what all that even means.

Listen, you need to do things radically different. 

START HERE: Identify that thing right now that is bugging you. I mean, you needed it to improve freakin’ yesterday!

Then, know this. You can’t half-ass it and simply say, “I’ll try harder.”

You have to educate yourself to get to a place of belief. Because if you don’t believe it’s possible, you’re right.

And now, back to the blog…

Let’s say, for example, you:

  • Read a book about improving your marriage
  • Complete a seminar revolving around making money
  • Sign up for 131 Method because you want to lose weight and/or get healthy

If there’s any part of you remaining cynical, you won’t accomplish (or get better at) any of those things – even though your conscious brain thinks it wants to. Girl, that’s because the subconscious is always running the show!

Please let that sink in. Even if it’s quietly, in the back of your mind. If you doubt – in whatever way – that it’s going to work, your doubt will seep into your results and you’ll fail. Again, you must believe.

Case in point: 131 Method

We can tell you what to eat, but then that would be a diet. And that doesn’t work. But if you come to understand how your body works, what happens when you eat this or that, and how it’s not the same for everyone… that education leads you to KNOWING it’s possible.

That, right there, is the fundamental basis for belief – knowing it’s possible through knowledge.

Otherwise, you’re working on blind faith.

The only way you’re going to believe whatever you’re committed to changing is by doing your research. 

Find someone else who has done that thing you want to see come to true for you. Figure out WHY it worked, and not just what they did. And follow every single darn step.

Miss a couple steps? Well, don’t go blaming your failure on someone else. Don’t say, “You know, I tried, but… it didn’t work for me.” I’ll bet you didn’t do everything! Follow all the steps and all the advice. However, don’t just follow it… understand it. This way, you’ll come to believe it.

I am telling you, if you believe it’s possible, if you truly, truly believe it’s possible, it’s going to happen. I know it. Mark my words.
