You will hear about the personal struggles I encountered during my fitness career which included inadequate nutrition, sleep, rest and over exercising. But before we dive in – a quick warning. We’ll be discussing some triggering topics, such as addiction, body image, weight, and exercise. So, please ensure you’re in the right headspace before tuning in.
I share my own experiences and challenges with potential orthorexia and exercise addiction. You’ll hear about the impact these obsessive health habits had on my life and the realizations I had along the way.
We will also discuss the unhealthy diet culture. The constant physical pain caused by excessive exercise and a lack of proper nutrition, and how I got caught up in counting macros, calories, and analyzing ingredients, which ultimately had a negative impact on my well-being and mental health.
