We all come across rude, mean or just plain jerky people. So lets preface this with, sometimes you catch people just in a bad moment. We’ve all done it! Even the nicest people around, have moments were they are unintentionally rude. However, there are some people who are mean on a daily basis. So why do you think people are this way? Well, the number 1 reason these people are like this is because it gives them the result that they’re looking for. Typically individuals like this do not like people too close to them… cause that would spoil their secret. They like keeping others at a distance. The number 2 reason people are jerks is because they don’t want you to find out that they believe that they don’t deserve to be where they are. Typically the who we know as being the “mean ones” are the ones that have been through the most in their life. They typically have the deepest scars. But being mean to you and everyone else is easier than developing a relationship, letting others in, and maybe having to explain who they are. So what do you do? Do you confront these individuals? In my opinion, no. So what can you do? You first have to realize that you can’t change someone. You cannot change this individual. They will change when they feel they are loved, supported, and safe.
