Creatine: Not Just for Athletes

Creatine, often associated with bodybuilders, is particularly beneficial for women, especially during perimenopause and menopause. Its benefits include:

  • Aiding in muscle recovery and development
  • Enhancing brain function
  • Supporting energy production

Essential Vitamins for Everyday Health

Ensuring a balanced intake of essential vitamins is key to maintaining good health. Some crucial vitamins include:

  • Vitamin D: Crucial for bone health and immune function
  • B Vitamins: Vital for energy production and brain health
  • Vitamin C: Important for immune support and skin health

The Importance of Omega-3s

Omega-3 fatty acids are vital for overall health, particularly for brain and heart health. They offer anti-inflammatory benefits and are crucial for maintaining healthy skin, hair, and nails.

DIM (Diindolylmethane): Balancing Hormones Naturally

DIM is a game-changer in my routine, particularly for balancing hormones. It’s not just for women; my husband takes it too. Especially beneficial for those with PCOS, DIM supports hormone balance in both men and women.

Probiotics: Gut Health and Beyond

I’ve shifted my focus from traditional probiotics to MassZymes, inspired by their potential to improve muscle development. These enzymes enhance the bioavailability of proteins, contributing to better muscle gains and less bloating. It’s important to note that individual results can vary, so it’s always best to consult with a healthcare provider before making any changes to your supplement routine.

Smart Supplement Shopping

When purchasing supplements, it’s essential to:

  • Consult with your doctor, especially if you have medical conditions or are on medication
  • Choose reputable brands and avoid dubious sources
  • Be aware of the FDA’s limited regulation on supplements

  1. HI Chalene, I just found you about a month ago and I am hooked!

I am 58 yrs. old and have been suffering from what I believe are hormone related symptoms but can’t find a doctor that doesn’t think I am a whinny woman. I can’t sleep, I have horrible hot flashes, and just don’t feel like myself. I have always had a flat stomach and worked out and had a beautiful shape but 3-4 years ago my weight shifted and that tire around my stomach grew. I tried fasting, went all organic, increased my cardio, tried different supplements and it did not make a difference. 2 yrs. ago when I got my yearly physical and bloodwork my cholesterol, glucose, and several others were off the chart and instead of my doctor associating that with menopause she wanted to put me on Staton (which I did not take because well I just don’t take pills of any kind) and she told me I was diabetic. At first, I was freaked out then I started researching and came across the Glucose Goddess, which then lead me to Dr. Mark Hyman, Dr. Mindy Peltz, Dr. Mary Claire Haver and then YOU!

Now, that I found you I realize cardio is NOT the way to go but heavy weights for short period of time is best.

There is a MD, GYN, Holistic, Hormone Specialist that Dr. Mary Claire Haver, MD. recommended but she has a long waiting list. I call every week and will keep calling until they get tired of me calling…Oh, I can be relentless! in the meantime, I got a 12 lbs. weighted vest and walking 30 mins. then sprint around the pickleball court 30 seconds on then 30 second recovery, 10 times or 10 mins.
Sorry, I am spilling my gut to you when I really wanted to ask you two questions. It must be my ADHD

I have been watching your videos for about a month and came across the one about all of the supplements you take.
What size water bottle do you use to mix all of your supplements int and PURE encapsulations doesn’t seem to carry Creatine any longer or it is under another name. Can you recommend another brand?

PS. I ordered all of the other supplements and can’t wait to start.
