Oh, you’re reading this blog because you want to be more successful and reach your aspirations? Well, buckle up buttercup, because it’s going to take learning how to build some good old-fashioned discipline.

Discipline Build 2023 New Year

As we’re in the New Year (it’s still January, thank you very much), it’s natural to reflect on our habits and desire to make positive changes in our lives. And if you’re like me, discipline may be something you’re looking to improve on this year. Because shoot, I definitely lost my way in 2022.

This is why I’ve chosen to make discipline my main focus in 2023 — and dude, the progress I’ve already made is insane!

So, because my goal is to always serve you by teaching the tools that serve me, I’ve dedicated this blog to mastering discipline together (you and me).

One of the most important things you can do to be more disciplined is to…

Set Specific and Measurable Goals

When you know exactly what you want to achieve, it is much easier to stay focused and motivated. Start by setting a challenging but achievable goal, then break it down into smaller, manageable steps.

For example, if your goal is to start a side hustle, start by seeking out experts online who teach passive income strategies or watch YouTube videos on the topic.

Create a Routine

Creating a daily routine is another important step in becoming more disciplined. When you establish a routine, you are less likely to waste time on unimportant tasks and more likely to focus on the things that matter.

A good way to create a practice is to make a list of the things you need to do each day and then schedule them in blocks of time (“time blocking”). This will help you stay on track and make sure you have enough time to complete everything.

Eliminate Distractions

Distractions are one of the biggest obstacles to becoming more disciplined. They can take many forms, from social media and TV to email and phone notifications.

To eliminate distractions, you need to identify the things that are taking up your time and then find ways to minimize or eliminate them. For example, you could turn off your phone during certain times of the day, or use an app to block distracting websites.

Bottom line: discipline is essential for achieving success. By setting specific and measurable goals, creating a routine, and eliminating distractions, you can become more disciplined in 2023.

It may not be easy, but you can make it happen with determination and effort (and a PUSH Journal!).

Remember, discipline is a habit, so keep at it, and don’t be afraid to make adjustments along the way.
